I didn’t say ‘admission’. I said ‘confirmed’.

If the document has been retyped and passed off as “Iran’s nuclear trigger: document in full” then its a fake.

I don't think it's fair to characterize Kamm's comment as an admission that the document is a fake. That's not what he's saying. But if The Times did indeed retype the document, then I think it had a journalistic responsibility to so state. Instead, the Persian document was linked on The Times' website as "Iran's nuclear trigger: document in full".

Thanks for this. You are indeed correct and Kamm has confirmed that the document published by the Times is a fake: “George Maschke, the whole of your comment is undermined by your mistake in assuming that the document that you read online was the document in its original form. It was in fact a retyped version of the relevant parts of that original document”.

This is hilarious. In trying to save his own skin, Kamm has opened up a can of worms and shown that the Times was trying to hoodwink everyone passing off the document as the full original document. Nowhere is there any kind of proviso warning readers that it was ‘retyped’ and that only the ‘relevant parts’ have been ‘retyped’. And of course, George equally hilarios is Kamm the Scam’s allegation that it’s your mistake!

You couldn’t make this stuff up. Kamm calls himself ‘left wing’…
